Description
🏰 【Winery Legend: Moet & Chandon 】

Winery Legend: Founded in 1743 by Claude Moët, the house rose to prominence under his grandson Jean-Rémy Moët, who transformed it into a global symbol of prestige. Napoleon Bonaparte was a devoted patron, awarding Jean-Rémy the Légion d’Honneur. The flagship Brut Impérial was created in 1869 as a tribute to the Emperor's 100th birthday, embodying a legacy of luxury that has endured for over 150 years within the LVMH portfolio.

【 🌿 Terroir Soul & Winemaking 】

The Brut Impérial is an intricate assemblage of more than 100 different wines, incorporating 20-30% reserve wines to guarantee consistency and depth. The blend typically features 30-40% Pinot Noir for structure, 30-40% Meunier for suppleness, and 20-30% Chardonnay for finesse. Aged for 24 months on lees—double the legal requirement—with a dosage of approximately 7-9 g/L, it strikes a perfect balance between fruitiness and maturity.

【 📅 Vintage Analysis & Scores 】

As a Non-Vintage (NV) cuvée, it represents the timeless style of the House, designed to offer the same premium experience regardless of the harvest year's climatic variations.

🏅 Score: 92 pts - Wine Spectator
An elegant version, fine and creamy in texture and backed by lively, orange peel acidity. A streak of smoke-tinged minerality underscores flavors of almond madeleine and preserved lemon.

🏅 Score: 91 pts - James Suckling
This is showing aromas of apricots, grapefruit, pears and short crust. Some walnuts, too. Medium-bodied, with soft bubbles and tasty nut and pie crust notes at the end.

【 🍷 Tasting Experience 】

👃 Nose: Vibrant notes of green apple and citrus fruit, complemented by white floral nuances and elegant blond notes of brioche, cereal, and fresh nuts.

👅 Palate: A generous palate combining sumptuousness and subtlety. Fleshy white fruits (pear, peach, apple) meet the alluring caress of fine bubbles and the soft vivacity of gooseberry.

✨ Finish: A clean, crisp finish with lingering freshness and a hint of mineral salinity.

【 🍽️ Serving Guide 】

🌡️ Temperature: 8°C - 10°C

⌛ Decanting: Best served immediately in a wide tulip or white wine glass to enhance complexity.

⏳ Drinking Window: Drink now through 2028 for optimal freshness.

🍴 Food Pairing: Oysters, sushi, roasted poultry with herbs, or even lightly salted French fries for a chic contrast.

💬 【 Manager's Pick 】

⚡ The Moët Brut Impérial is the ultimate benchmark for Champagne. It is universally loved for its reliable quality and vibrant character. Whether it is a grand celebration or a casual gathering, its balanced acidity and fine mousse make it a crowd-pleaser. In Hong Kong, it pairs exceptionally well with Dim Sum or fresh seafood. A true essential for any wine cellar. ⚡
